Interesting … and could be interesting to see it made up with mixed colours. Of course, the background colour could be any darkish colour with white applique and quilting too.

I like the stronger contrast in the second design, achieved by simply using five applique blocks with more solid shapes.

I love pretty much every design in this project though the background colour is dull. However, that was the colour which worked best to show the virtual quilting, and it would probably look good in many modern bedrooms.

Today’s favourite is the second design.

I like the second one, but the applique border is too wide.

I like this one … always like wholecloth quilts, though i would choose a nicer background fabric.

I often use uninteresting, dull or plain boring fabrics when I want the design to be the feature, not the background, and this project file is one of those times when the design is way more important than the fabric in the background. What colour would you use in these designs?

I love this, despite the background fabric not being very inspiring. I was looking for something to make the quilting show clearly as a virtual quilt rather than a real quilt.
